Later than it should be but here at last

Hello again, sorry for my absence, I've been away celebrating my auntie's 50th birthday and just getting back to normal today.

This is my last card for My Time To Craft where this week they are asking for something to celebrate new things. I choose a new job, I used Craft Artist to make this one.

This one I did today, I saw a fab tutorial about paper piecing at Paper Doll's Creations so I had a go at it as I have the designer version of the software. As you can see I got a little carried away with the paper piecing. I used Ava and Deacon love the same as the tutorial from Bugaboo, I cut around the image with my Robo, I got new blades today so pleased they are the right ones. I coloured the rest of the image with my Spectrum Noirs, printed some of the Bearly Mine Papers and stuck it together.

I am entering the cards in the following challenges:

Artistic Impression - Anything Goes/For Kids
The East Wind - Love
Crafty Sentiments - Anything Goes
Creative Moments - Anything Goes
A Creative Romance- Lets get sentimental

Crafting From The Heart Challenge 7

Good Morning, I am hoping Blogger plays nicely and posts this on time for me. It is time for another challenge at Crafting From The Heart and this time we would like you to use flowers. We also have our anything goes option.

This cute little mouse is from Meljens Designs. I coloured him with my Spectrum Noirs and added some Glossy Accents on the icing after cutting him out. I do enjoy cutting out images by hand but I really like the look of the Scan and Cut, that's for another day I think.

The card blank is an old CraftWork Cards on that I found in my stash when I gutted my craft room. I used my new embossing folder, I think it's called Patchwork Flowers but I'm not sure, it's from Crafters Companion I do know that. I wanted to show the embossing so I inked the panel with my Distress Ink, I cut the mount using an old Nellie Snellen die, this was also embossed and out of the scrap box. I added some flowers as my stopper and used my Martha Stewart heart punch to create some texture of the bottom panel.

I am entering this card in the following challenges:

Cute Card Thursday - Clever Cutting
Crafty Girls Challenge - Anything Goes
Totally Papercrafts - Hey Cutie(use a cute image)

As always thank you for popping by and any comments you are kind enough to take the time to leave are greatly appreciated.

My Time To Craft Challenge #235

Wow can't believe this is my third card for My Time To Craft !!

This time we are asking for a sympathy card. Not easy to make but very handy to have in your card box if needed.
I used a Spellbinders Embossing folder I borrowed from my friend on some pearl card. I wanted the flowers to be coloured but not bright so I used my Flexmarkers. I stamped the sentiment in green ink and heat embossed it. I used my Labels 4 dies to cut it out. I wanted it to be obvious I had mounted the sentiment so I coloured the back panel with the same flex marker as the lilies. As it's all so pale in colour and white not the easiest card to photograph looks much better in real life.
So now it's your turn, we would love to see your sympathy cards.

As always thank you for popping by and any comments you are kind enough to leave are greatly appreciated.

Some love cards

Hello again. I needed to make an wedding aniversay card but as I am making cards for my Gran as well I needed a few of them.

These are all Lilly of The Valley pre coloured Squares, some I cut with dies others I just rounded the corners. I have used scraps from my box for all of them and a stamp that came with a magazine. The stamps is heat shaped with a dotted square round it, I didn't like the square so I cut it off. I used my circle punch to create the round sentiments from the same stamp. I can see this one being used a lot as it is very useful. I used 2 different sketches one from Sketch and Stash and one from Digi Sketch Challenge. As you can see I found the one from Digi Sketch challenge easy to replicate.

I am entering these card in the following challenges:

A gem of a challenge - All you need is love

My Time to Craft Ribbon and at least 3 buttons

Good afternoon all, so sorry not only did Blogger not publish my post it ate it, so here is a new one, fingers crossed for this one!!!

At My Time to Craft this week we are looking for ribbon and at least 3 buttons on your card or project.

I use Dancing Willow a stamp I have used before but not as often as I should, I rediscovered her after gutting my craft room. I coloured her with my Promarkers, used labels 4 to cut her out and the gold labels 4 to mount her on. I added some bling with my glamour dust and after a lot of trial and error I made the personalised corners to go behind the square papers. I had seen something similar wile bog hopping so though I would give it a try, I am quite pleased with the results. I coloured the button with a Promarker as I didn't have any that went with the colours I have used, added some ribbon across the front and that was it. The papers were a freebie from a magazine, sorry I don't know which one.

I would like to enter this card in the following challenges:

Some more cards ready for Christmas

Hello again, I have been busy crafting but mainly for DT cards so haven't been able to share yet, I made these last night to add to my collection of cards for Christmas.
I used the free candle Digi Stamps 4 Joy were giving away last month, I had printed four onto the sheet but only used one so far, in my efforts to use things up before moving on to new things I decided to use them last night.
I coloured the images with my Promarkers and my Spectrum Noir pens. I added some glitter to the stars using my Stella Wink pen, I have the clear one and love the effect you get without any mess.
The papers came free in a magazine, it might has been last year or even the year before sorry not at all sure how long I've had them. I used my Marianne dies to cut the corners, the circle and the greeting.
Here are all three together one circle was a little bigger than the other hence the change in the placement of the sentiment. I was feeling quite pleased with the number of cards I had ready for Christmas but I've spoken to my Granny today and she needs some cards during the year as she can't get out and about very often to pick her own, so I will be trying to make enough to send her some Christmas cards to use as well. You might be seeing a few batches of card during the year from now on.

I am entering these cards in the following challenges:

Cards Galore - Bling

I found this image from Digi Sparkle on my computer (not sure if they are still available) which I don't think I've used before. I used some papers from a Craft Artist kit to create the card, I used the same papers to paper piece the image after adding a Z to his chest. this card is going to my cousin's little boy so using his initial seemed like a good idea to me.
