WOYWD Wednesday 47

Thank you for all the lovely comments and encouragement I had from all my visitors last week, as you can see from the pictures I have managed to clear my space quite a lot. Someone asked what the awards were on the cabinet, well the cabinet is the fridge and the awards are for my daughter from school.

As you can see I have trimmed my ribbon collection severely as I read a fab tip from Joanna Sheen who now just keeps white, cream and black ribbon as she colours the ribbon whatever colour she wants using pro markers. I can pinch a good idea as fast as anyone so that's what I'm working at getting my ribbons to. I have packaged all my old ones up to send to a lovely crafter Leigh who does all her crafting for charity so I can't think of a better place for them.
I've now got all my brad and bling towers neatly tucked away, my cuttlebug shapes, flowers and adhesive stones nice and tidy and my pro markers are in pride of place.

I was lucky enough to go the the Show at Aintree on Friday and got a pack of five markers for five pounds, so I got five packs. I cut little circles with the robo using adhesive paper and coloured them with the marker so I can see what colour I'm looking for.

I'm trying out a Big Bite from the local QVC shop but I don't know if I will keep it, it has been very useful though for creating some templates to use with adhesive stones.
Well that's it for this week, hopefully I will be more creative next week and I'm looking forward to having a browse around your spaces too.

Revised Card for Susie and Vikki's Challenge of Peace, Joy or Noel

I thought when I posted my original I hadn't quite met the spec, so here is my second effort, I created my own background paper this time with the word Peace in different colours so it's definitely on there now, I made Roberta's beautiful fairies smaller, coloured with pro markers of course, cut with nesties and bling using the templates, quite simple but I like it sometimes nice and light is good

Doodle Dragon Challenge Lets Get Sketchy

I missed a couple of birthdays recently so I made this card using the sketch from Doodle Dragon Challenge Blog, it says the sketch is a starting point so I've taken them at their word and added a few extras. The image is Toby and Buster from Dustin Pike, coloured with my promarkers of course, some K and Co paper I've had forever and some swirls using my bling templates. I made the sentiment on the computer and cut it wth my nesties, I've inked it with my distress ink as it was white and was far far too stark as was.

Fairy Card

I just had to have the gorgeous Sugar Plum fairy from Prairie Stamps and I made this with it. Having looked at the fabulous dt card again I'm not sure mine meets the spec, I'm sure i will be told if it doesn't and if not I will have an excellent excuse to use the lovely image again.

Tearing Paper

Tearing and inking paper is a technique I'm not comfortable with so I don't really use it but this week the challenge at Die Cut Dreams is to tear some paper, so I've done this. I've used a Tiddly Inks digital stamp, my nesties, pro markers and my new toys from the show at Aintree yesterday, the punch and emboss flowers and a blending tool with some distress ink. I'm not sure this style is for me but that's why its a challenge. I also want to enter this in the Tiddly Inks Challenge Blog as it's anything goes for this week.

Christmas Card with Digi Stamps

I want to enter this card into a few challenges, not because I sat down to combine them it just kind of happened, I have taken the background from The Stamping Boutique and the lovely skater from Karen Johnson combined them in my digi scrap booking software to get this scene. I've coloured using my pro markers, I so love these pens and applied some glitter to create some ice and snow effects. I want to enter it in ABC Christmas I is for Ice, Winter Wonderland anything goes, and Bah! Humbug Shades of Pink, I hope there are enough shades of pink in it to qualify.

Designed 2 Delight Challenge April Showers

I received the new freebie image for taking part in the last challenge a few days ago and I made this card today, I've coloured it using some of my new pro markers and used my new blender pen, yes I've only just got one but wow I wish I'd got one as soon as I had any promarkers, its my new best friend.

WOYWD Wednesday

Well this little selection of pictures is more than just my desk, it is in there somewhere, it's the disaster area that is my craft space at present, so guess what I will be doing today, sigh, oh well it will keep me busy I suppose.

Designed 2 Delight Challenge

I've been meaning to enter this challenge for ages but this time I got around to it, this is my card using a bunch digi stamp, I coloured the images with my pro markers, cut it with my nesties and scored an ordinary card to give the fold back. I used my template to create the bling flourish, I do love these so I think I'm going to need more adhesive stones.

ABC Christmas Challenge H is for Holly

Here is my entry for the H is for Holly challenge, I used my cuttlebug embossing folder, chalk, ruby red promarker and glossy accents, really simple but I like it.

What a Week

Well its been a busy week this week, Easter celebrations getting Fiona back from her holiday, dashing to the hospital on Bank Holiday Monday, yes she fell over on her blades and has fractured her arm. So with looking after her as she can't do a lot of things at the minute and backwards and forwards to hospital I've not been able to get much crafting done, oohh I'll be so glad when she's back at school. Anyway here are the cards I have been able to make, I liked the little Santa card I made so much i made a whole batch of them.

Winter Wonderland Challenge Santa on the Sketch

Here is my entry for this challenge, I don't think I've got the sketch right but I couldn't seem to fit everything on my card without it looking too cluttered so I went with this. I like this card though so I think I will make a few more like it to add to my Christmas card box which is filling up nicely thanks to all the challenges. The papers are from leftover Christmas stash so I've no idea who they are by, the Santa is Whiff of Joy, their images are soooo cute, I cut the circles with my nesties and embossed with divine swirls, I coloured the image and the embossed circle with my pro markers.

Susie and Vikki's Christmas Club Challenge 10

After much thought and looking through what I had, I found this lovely lady and thought ah just what I'm looking for. I love her sweet face and her carefree attitude to painting the candy canes. Hope you like her too.
