WOYWW

Well it's not ON the desk but it is just above the desk, this is my new holder for my homemade blending blocks.

My husband and myself made the blocks and he created the holder for them. I have been using the new blocks and they work just fine, so pleased with them cost a fraction of the amount several branded blocks would have been.
That's it short and sweet from me this week, if your wondering what this is all about pop over to The Stamping Ground and join in the worldwide nosey of other people's desks/workplaces.
Thanks for looking and I will try to visit as many as I can this week.

Ooo arr, how impressive is that, blenders at your finger-tips!! I will keep you posted on the ATG if I can mange to remember.. as have arthritic hands was worried about ease of use, but was assured it was easy-peasy, and it is very very easy to use (not to load had to watch how to do this on YouTube as diagrams are HOPELESS!) the final decision will depend on how long a roll of tape lasts as have always found with previous ones they run out in a blink!! as our dollar is good it did not cost me too much or would not have bought it. It was $75 bought here in Oz or $25 at Custom Crops online in US, and post was almost same as post to here in Oz. I always find that weird..anyway love it so far.

Hi, your blenders and holder look very decorative - a great idea too, blenders to hand. Thanks for visiting my blog this morning. In answer to your question about the Ottlite, I think it is well worth the investment because you can see colours as they really are even if you are crafting at night. My eyes are definitely not as good as they used to be, I have to wear strong lenses, so for me the lamp is a boon. We are using the new bulbs around the house now, those ones the government want us to use, but the light they give off is awful giving everything a yellow tinge. With the lamp I can colour in or read at night without straining at all. Hope this helps you make your decision. Elizabeth x #61

Those blocks are amazing. Well done for the initiative.
BTW I see you are in Warrington, well if you are interested, we are getting together in community centre in Padgate on Sunday for a new stamping/papercraft group. If interested, email me. Plenty of space, anything goes, nice people and low cost. It's been great fun the last two times since we started.

Great work on the blending tools! I only have a couple but would like more but agree, too expensive to get them for all ink colours. I'll have to show my hubby this and ask him if he needs another project!!! have fun using them!

Brilliant idea! I wish I had some of them....I noticed the comment about the daylight lamp as well, they're well worth having, particularly when you're using difficult-to-match colours after dark.
